It seems strange that the first day that the park opens - Brian's parents go to search and suddenly there are things to be found whereas the park was closed and searched for weeks. Seems sketchy.
BIN.GO
I said the SAME thing! WAY too sketchy for me!
Yes - I agree... Very odd.
They clearly knew where he was and only told the police because he was missing when they got there or they found a piece of him.
Yup!

Funny how the media thinks this all stinks. Just the way it is all happening.

I just read that the Laundrie's lawyer is saying that it is more than likely Brian's remains that were found and that his parents told the authorities to check that area a month ago.

I find it interesting that they just happened to have the camera on them when giving them that bag and they just all of a sudden wanted to go and find him and poof found him.
I TRULY hope they are not his remains and he is still alive. For Gabby's sake and her family and friends, he needs to be tortured for the rest of his life.

Yes - some closure would be nice but on the other hand - this needs to end. Im sure they dont want him just out there....

If he IS out there alive, I am SURE they know where and know that he is safe and fine.
They just act very odd for someone whose son is missing and no emotions at all for the young woman who used to live with them at all. Even to just say something to her parents. It all makes no sense.

I was shocked when I was flipping the channels and caught the story and 3 people just did not believe the story. When the reporters/journalists don't believe it, how can any of us?

Re: To get off topic, Brian Laundrie
I have family members that were involved in a high profile news story a while ago. I can tell you that in about half of the articles that I read, most from reputable sources, there was false and misleading information. Additionally, many of the so called experts also had and gave misinformation. You can not believe many things that are put out as facts.
The attorney said that the area he was found was the first area that the parents told police to look. No one was able to search the area because until the past couple of days that area was underwater. I actually think that the parents have been more forthcoming with the police than has been presented in the media. It's not as good of a story when the parents are cooperating and giving as much information as they know.

There is definitely misinformation in media stories. Unfortunately, sometimes I have a hard time remembering that and believe entirely what they say lol.

I know, believe me I do it too. But the media paints a certain picture that doesn't always match reality. Even shows like Dateline often distort the facts to fit a certain narrative.

Absolutely I agree with that. I just wonder how they would be twisting about them not contacting her family. They have already come out and explained how they just ignored them and stll ignoring them.

Very shady. Hopefully he died a slow agonizing death with gators eating him. And his parents get charges brought on them

This is unbelievable. Something stinks with his parents. Interesting that the park was closed down and suddenly when it reopened his parents went there and suddenly his remains were found???

Exactly and now the lawyer said that HE called the FBI on that Tuesday when he didn’t come home but the parents confused what day he went missing and didn’t call the cops until Friday? These people need to get their stories straight as someone is lying.

I think their story probably is straight and the media is probably twisting things around. They have already said that area of the preserve was inaccessible because it was under water. I don't know, I don't think it's as shady as the media is making it seem.
As for them not contacting her family - if my son killed his girlfriend I am not sure I would contact the family just yet. Maybe I would send them a letter down the line but I would be heartbroken and mortified at the same time and I would assume I would be the last person they'd want to hear from. Potentially he didn't tell his parents what happened and they didn't have any info to give. I don't think we will ever know.

They are now saying that the lawyer advised them not to speak out (not strange and understandable)

I agree that you just know 100% but the way the lawyer was talking last night, he is blaming the public for wanting to know answers. Yes, the public can not know all but this guy seems to not be a very good lawyer. Not criminal at least and loses his cool quickly. He’s a family friend and wi defend them more because of that. They will probably need a real criminal lawyer eventually if they find anything out on these parents.

I will be truly shocked if they go after the parents. What's the point? They didn't help him get away. The son is dead. And it seems like they told the police immediately where he was located in the preserve.

If the lawyers stories matched up, then everyone wouldn’t question things but he keeps changing things and now he is saying that when Brian left the house he was grieving. NOW that comes out?

Yes but that still doesn't mean that the parents did anything illegal. Just that they hired the wrong attorney.
