Re: To rent a doppler
To me worth every penny! Having experienced a loss 1 month prior, that doppler was my savior. Whenever I felt un pg, or starting panicking between dr's visits, that baby's heartbeat was sooo soothing.
It kept me sane!

Re: To rent a doppler
Thanks! Is it something an idiot can operate? I don't want to get it and then not be able to find it and freak!

Re: To rent a doppler
I just got mine on Wednesday (rented). I couldn't find the heartbeat for awhile - at first I found "something" but after timing it I realized it was my own heartbeat. I didn't panic though because I read so many stories about how hard it is to find at first. The next time I tried it, I am pretty sure I found it - it was so much lower on my pelvic bone than I expected. it was very cool for me and DH, especially since I am such a nervous person and always need to reassure myself. So far I'm glad I got it but I'm not sure I'll use it every day, or after I can feel the baby move.
