To tell or not to tell ?

I have a potential interview as a consultant soon. Should I mention I am pregnant ?
I am 11 weeks with a little pot belly.

Re: To tell or not to tell ?

I am in the same boat as you! I went for an interview for a consultant position too. I did not tell them I was pregnant. I know it may seem devious, but it's harder for them to get rid of me after/when i'm hired rather than tell them up front. Especially so early in the pg, they can't tell if your pg or just bulging a little. AND THEY CAN"T ASK YOu

I wouldn't tell. the fact that you're pregnant shouldn't influence their decision.

Hmmm, personally at this point -since you are almost through your first trimester - i think you should tell them - its only a matter of time until they find out anyhow.

Good luck

I would be upfront about it after they make you the offer. Just remember they don't have to give you FMLA, so if you want to take off an additional 6 weeks after your 6 weeks disability you might not be able too.

Re: To tell or not to tell ?

I interviewed for a job and I was 18 weeks PG and I didn't tell them. I did get the job and had to tell them 2 weeks later. HARDEST thing I ever had to do though! I wouldn't tell them.
