To those who wonder why they don't get a lot of responses to posts...
I just happened to notice that on LisaW's post a few people noted that they don't get a lot of responses to their posts and think it's cuz they are new or don't often post on a certain board alot.
Not true...there are a ton of lurkers on this board, so your post may have 200 views and three replies...it just means that people are either checking back to see if anyone answered, don't know the answer or are wondering what the answer is.
I know cuz I've done it a few times myself

Also, if you use the arrow to get to the last post, it counts twice. Why? I don't know, I just know it has been like this since LIW.

I think that happens because a lot of questions get answered in the first few responses and additional replies are not really needed.
And then like you mentioned, people are reading the thread to see the replies which boosts the view count.

In the last activity column, located next to the time of the last post.

It drives me crazy sometimes too. The arrow is there only if there are multiple pages for a certain post. I think if it's more than 4 pages. I might be wrong that's what i remember off the top of my head.
