T.O. tried to commit suicide?!
I know this is sports-related, but I was just wondering if we believe this... 
DALLAS (Reuters) - Dallas Cowboys football star Terrell Owens was treated for a drug overdose after taking more than 30 pain pills in an apparent suicide attempt on Tuesday night, according to a police report obtained by local media.
Owens is one of the National Football League's most gifted receivers but also one of its most controversial. His behavior has angered coaches and teammates on both of his previous teams, the San Francisco 49ers and the Philadelphia Eagles.
The police report cited Owens as saying he was depressed and that he had finished a bottle of prescription pain pills in an effort to harm himself.
A Dallas police spokesman would not confirm that Owens had attempted suicide and said the department was no longer involved in the issue.
"This is not a criminal offense. It's a medical type of situation," spokesman Lt. Rick Watson told reporters. He declined to comment in detail on the report, but said in response to a question that a suicide attempt was not considered a criminal offense.
The report, a copy of which was posted on the Dallas Morning News Web site, said Dallas fire and rescue had been dispatched after a call regarding an attempted "suicide by prescription pain medication."
A woman who was with the five-times All-Pro receiver saw him put two pills in her mouth, and she tried to get them out, the report said.
She also said the 11-year NFL veteran had filled a prescription for 40 pain pills on September 18, and taken only five through Tuesday, the newspaper said, citing the police report.
Owens said he had taken the rest of the prescription and was rushed to Baylor University Medical Center for a drug overdose.
Owens has had a variety of injuries this season and was believed to have been taking pain medication for a broken hand he suffered 10 days ago.

Yeah, DH told me because he's the "commissioner" for his Fantasy Football league.
Isn't that wild? Of all the football player scandals and injuries, I've never heard of this before.

with T.O... i honestly don't know what to believe. but given everything over the past 2 years especially, i guess it wouldn't surprise me much.

i agree.
it also gets him a 'do not go to jail' card......anyone else would've been charged with a crime

i agree.
it also gets him a 'do not go to jail' card......anyone else would've been charged with a crime
i find this weird, but suidicide isn't a crime in Texas.
