Toast - Out of Business?
Has anyone heard about this?
Apparently, Toast in Port Jeff went out of business! I was just informed of this. Has anyone been by there? Do they have a sign up or anything?
The part that stinks about this is that DH and I have a GC there for $75. We were saving it for either Valentine's Day or this Spring when we can make a nice night out of it. We got it for Christmas!

I go there all the time!! I went about 2 weeks ago. They where very busy. I hope this isn't true, we love this place.

Toast only does breakfast and Lunch.

Hmmm - a fellow poster FM'd me saying they were closed just to inform me because she saw that I posted I was going to go there soon. She was just trying to be nice so I didn't waste a trip there but I guess she was misinformed?
I'll have to write her back asking about this.

They still do something at night, but not fondue. It is more tapas and wine/beer. I think they have musicians come and preform. I have never been there at night, but I knew they didn't have dinner. I hope they are not out of business. It is one of my favorite Lunch places. I was just commented to DH the other day, on how busy they always are and how they must do well.

Yeah, I just looked it up. I thought they where only doing Tapas, but it says fondue as well. That is good to know!!

Thanks ladies!!!
I am going to call tomorrow just to make sure about the fondue incase they didn't get a chance to update their site or anything...
And DH and I will be going there very soon!
So glad I asked! 
I'll FM the girl who wrote to me originally back and just let her know!

She may have been thinking of Taste, in Sayville, which was owned by one of the owners of Toast. That is closed. Last time I was at Toast though, there was no fondue. Maybe they brought it back, hopefully.

Called today - very much in business, sounded very busy in the background AND they still do fondue every Friday and Saturday night from 6/7pm until around 11pm or whenever the crowd starts to die down a bit!
