Today at Old Navy
They have $7 jeans for kids.
We went there and the place was absolutely MOBBED.
At the back of the store - where I would find jeans for my 7 year old - there were 3-4 ladies pulling jeans off the shelf and shoving them back randomly when they weren't the size/style that they wanted. I hung back - trying to find an opening. There was a girl (about 12 or 13) standing there waiting for her mom as she rifled through jeans. Another lady said "excuse me" to the girl and the girl just stared at her. So the lady said "I'm sorry - can I just squeeze in past you for a minute?" to the girl (who was blocking a good size spot in the coveted area. The woman next to this girl turned around and said "Wait your f*cking turn you C*nt".
That's when I left. Didn't even wait to see how that little drama panned out.
Sorry - but no sale is worth that.

I just got the email about the $12 denim sale.... Decided to avoid it because its the last weekend before the real back to school and Labor Day.... I wonder if you can do it online??

It looks like you can do it online.. but the selection looks smaller...

Sadly, I am old enough to remember when the GAP sold Lees and Levis (before their own brand) exclusively and that's what they cost back then in the 70s.

Not even worth the aggravation.
Of course I just bought Bry new jeans in Children's Place the other day, but, you can't beat $7..
Then again, don't feel like being in a mobbed store fighting people.

It's good online too. I just placed an order - got some jeans for me, the kids, and even a pair for DH (who NEVER wears jeans). I figured what doesn't fit or we don't need, I can just return... The site was slow, but working. And by the time I was ready for checkout, a pair I placed in the cart for me was already sold out Oh well, got what I needed.

Yikes. I wonder where she learned that from. It frightens me that people have no regard for others lately.
For young kids, The Children's Place is 2 for $22 or 2 for $24-28 for older kids. With a 15% coupon, it's not that much more than Old Navy's sale.

I remember that too. Although I don't remember the price that low. Wow, that seems forever since GAP had Levi's.
