Today I had an HSG Test...
And I am sad because they told me everything looked "beautiful". I had dreams they would say "Oh look at this teeny tiny blockage! This is why you aren't pregnant and now that the dye has fixed the blockage you'll get pregnant next month".
I am still holding out hope that now my tubes are extra clear and open.
For anyone who has to go and have the test don't worry, it was nothing! I pretty much made myself sick prior thinking how bad it would hurt. It was about 2 minutes long total, with only very mild cramps. Afterwards I felt pretty much fine, and 5 hours later I did finally get some cramping but it was nothing like AF cramps. Also bleeding a bit but mostly when I wipe.
Does anyone know if I can BD tomorrow? I forgot to ask, today is CD8, so I kind of want to start.

I had that done in the fall. I also thought maybe my issue was just a blocked tube....Nope they said everything was nice and clear.
I had my first IUI this month....cause as far as my Dr was concerned the only thing against me was my age.
DOnt get down.....there are plenty of options if you want to up you chances. And if you decide to go the IUI route...it was relatively simple.

glad it went well! When I went for the test they said not to BD for 24 hrs....after that you should be good to go!

Thanks for posting this. I am going for mine on Thursday and was starting to get a bit anxious about it! I'm glad to know that it's quick and not too painful. I'm glad it went well for you!

I should add I took 3 tylenol 30-40 minutes prior because they said I couldn't have any other pain killer. And I wasn't supposed to pee prior to leaving the house, but right before I went in the Dr. said I could go. From my nerves I had to pee so bad.
Honestly I'd take this feeling monthly over my normal menstrual cramps. It was slightly more uncomfortable than a routine gyno visit.
I went on my lunch break and was perfectly able to go back to work after.
Yes I can definitely wait 24 hours, I peed on an OPK and it was negative, so I am glad.
