thanks everyone!
i just spoke with DH, he and his friend (who is moving us, he has his own truck) were able to get everything in except the bed, so they were headed back to the apartment to take care of the frame and the mattress  poor guys!
i won't even begin to tell you how they had move the couches out of our 2nd floor apartment over the porch railing 
i  it doesn't start raining until after they are done!!

Sounds like they have everything under control and I hear you about furniture coming down from a second floor. That was the worst part of our moving. Good luck in your new place!!!
