Today is our office party / white elephant gift exchange

Can’t wait.

I bought Poop-puri hahaha

But what’s really interesting is there’s this old man here who makes chips in a fryer in his house with peanut oil. Sounds mundane right? But OH MY GOD ITS FREAKING DELICIOUS! Like crazy good. He made them for our Thanksgiving feast as they were the talk of the luncheon. Who made them? What are they? How were they made? Who? Who? WHO?!

Now he was smart enough to bring two bags. So I enlisted two ladies to help me grab all the gifts and put them in our large conference room so there’s no knowing who’s gift was who’s. It was then I noticed he snuck in his two bags of delight into the kitchen. OMG!

So as the three of us huddled around (gifts totally forgotten) over the bags munching, it dawned on me. LETS make this a white elephant gift!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So we grabbed a gift bag and tissue paper (we are a whacky group who keeps such items around) and stuffed the spare bag worth and hid it as a gift. I am not sure how that’s going to play out with a spare gift considering the math but who cares, there’s like 4 people in the know vying for the bag already! The calculations of when the bag ‘dies’ as a gift are in.

Best gift so far is going to be CHIPS!

Update:
First bag was devoured in 1hour. Once they found out, the rest office came over to pick at the bag and one lady camped out in the kitchen. She sat down and stayed until it was finished off. Boss never got a single chip. Salsa was never poured.

My cohorts and I decided it was best to tell the old man so he would know when his 'gift' was exposed and notify my boss so she could understand the extra gift. She was THRILLED and she's in for the fight for the chip bag. He thought this was ridiculous (in a hilarious way). Plus all discussions regarding 'the gift' are now forced behind closed doors.

Office of 22 and this seems its gonna get dirty and mean. But last man standing gets to choose another gift on top of the prize of winning the chips. LOL

Chips were seriously fought over!!!
Winner is hogging them up in his office right now bragging.

Other hot item was the book with a little day of the dead bobble head. Book name "Can Holding in a fart Kill You?" Wrapped so you pulled out the bobble head WAY before you get to the book.

The twenty dollar Starbuck gift card which was wrapped in Elf paper then put in small box which was wrapped, which was in a small gift bag, which was in a medium gift bag. Took FOREVER to get to!

Poop-puri was only stolen once because it was opened towards the end.

I had wine, which was stolen, then a sausage wine set (hickory farms) which was stolen and ended up stealing a warming blanket

Good times indeed!

All over Beef Tenderloin, butternut squash, green beans, mashed potatoes, mushroom gravy, salad and tea. Never had to leave the office.

Who knew chips could unleash the beast in people? Lol This reminds me of the episode of The Office when Michael gives Ryan the ipod as his white elephant gift lol.

Uh oh Starbucks gift card. I'll never look at Starbucks the same way after Nell's Gross! thread lol.

Sounds like a fun way to spend Friday at the office!

LOL! Just get a latte!
Chestnut praline is delicious at this time of year.
And my go to is a Skinny Vanilla Latte
