Today is the first day I left the crockpot on...
... and I am SO fricken nervous! I do not want to set the house on fire. Can anyone assure me that crockpots are safe? DH wanted stew and I just threw everything in this morning at 8AM and set it on low but I am feeling quite paranoid.

I am worried that it's going to overflow. I filled it about 3/4. I hope it's okay. I think I may stop home and make sure it's good.

Okay guys, I went home and checked it. And you were right, it's fine. It smelled SO good when I walked in. I am a new fan of the crock pot!

You are going to love using the crockpot. I was the same way, until my sister told me it uses about the same energy as a lightbulb. I did the same thing when I put it on for the first time, I went home to check it and it was fine.
