There is nothing left! We don't have a clunker but we went shopping for a new car this weekend and they have NOTHING. No stock!!!! We tried three separate Ford dealers.

Also, the paper said that because of the low stock on autos, nobody is bargaining. So good luck but don't expect much stock out there

DH and I did this last week... we ended up going with the Hyundai Touring. We were so lucky we got it, because they were low on stock. Luckily, we love the color! We were looking at the Ford Fusion, but there was nothing left.

My parents did it too and got an Elantra.

We both needed a new car desperately and this really helped. I wanted to buy American during these tough times, but Ford, Dodge and GM had very limited selections, which was a shame because i thought the point was to help them... or maybe the selection was limited because it boosted their sales.

My FIL is going to try to buy a car today. He called 2 dealerships and they told him that they weren't selling any cars with the rebate bc they have to catch up on all of the paperwork by 7pm Central.
