Today was the first day of Daycare!
and we survived!!
I cried on the way there, got choked up while I was there and cried on the way home. I took the day off to get some other stuff done, and I moped around all day. I picked her up at 5pm and she was happy as could be and they said she was really good.
Now I am exhausted from just getting all of her stuff organized for tomorrow! I guess I will get used to it.

Not sure if you are BF, but have a glass of wine tonight, you deserve it.
From what I have heard from other mom's, this day is one of the hardest.

The first day is the hardest but once you see that she is ok and you get used to the routine it becomes so much easier.
Also, once she gets used to all the other kids it is cute to see them interact with one another.

I agree. I got choked up the first day too. And I RUSHED to go get him the minute I could.
By the end of the week it was routine.

I had a hard time too. I held it in. I did not want to look like a moron. Although I am sure they see the moms do it all the time. But once I open the door to leave there was no holding back...I cried like a baby and rushed home to get him that day.
It does get easier. You get into a routine. It's not "great" but you just do it.
Where did you end up going?
