Toddler moms and getting baby to sleep....
It just keeps getting tougher.
We still hold DD for her naps and to put her down at night (sometimes its only for 5-10 minutes and she's asleep - sometimes a bit longer)- she sleeps through the night and still takes 2 naps a day so we have kept the routine b/c i guess its been easy and CIO went out the door months ago - but its getting difficult and i realize that this child needs to learn to fall asleep on her own soon and fast.
Im just about 8 months pregnant and have to hold her almost 30 lbs body to get her to sleep - its killing my back and i don't want to do this when the new baby arrives.
She is getting her twin bed next week so i want to start a new routine with her to start sleeping in her bed on her own - any ideas? I know it will be an adjustment - how did your toddler take to the twin bed - were they already sleeping on their own at that point?

Maybe at first instead of holding her just lie next to her with your arms around her?
