Toddler Snacks

My daughter is shunning her old standbys! I have to pack her lunch for daycare. Morning snack, lunch and afternoon snack.

She's a good eater, so I'm willing to try anything. She gets her fruits. Will eat most of a yogurt and one cup of milk per day and a veggie or two w/ dinner plus a veggie with lunch (pasta w/ broccoli or something like that)

What kinds of raw veggies can she eat as snacks? I've tried snap peas. She liked them.

I miss being able to throw sliced apples, string cheese, goldfish and cheerios into her lunch bag.

Re: Toddler Snacks

She won't eat applesauce or the dole cups Chat Icon but the pretzels and puddings are a great idea-thank you!

Also, can 2 year olds eat raw veggies like carrots? I thought they were a choking hazard--or am I still thinking in infant terms?

Re: Toddler Snacks

My DS won't eat raw veggies.
He will eat any fruit though.
He loves grapes, blueberries, strawberries... those you don't have to cut.
He loves clementines too. I peel them for him and give him the divided up sections.

When he started getting tired of string cheese I tried different kinds. Would she eat the cheddar one?

he also loves the gerber toddler cereal bars.
