Toddler Soccer Teams
Ryna is finally turning four (old enough to play on a soccer team ) and I STILL CANT FIND a place to enroll him.
Does anyone know a place in Queens that has a toddler soccer league???

STILL?! Ok I'm going to a Chairperson's dinner for our Soccer League tomorrow. I"ll ask if they know anywhere in Queens.
Have you checked at pre-schools to see if they know? Soccer is very big out here - signs are everywhere for the soccer league. I would imagine schools would also know about them since they need their fields to play on.

I have been searching everywhere, I found this one placesoccerrockets but its $195 for 8 classes and it doesnt seem to be a team but some sort of class. Does that seem like a lot of $$.
The one page I had bookmarked that I found last year no longer has a website

I can ask my DH to ask his team manager. He plays for the fire dept team and they are based out of Queens. They do kids clinics alot so he might know.

It's funny because I grew up in Queens and moved to LI in 4th grade. I was the only one I knew who didnt play soccer since age 3.

Pauline...some moms were talking about this on the playground the other day. They were saying that EVERY grassy field in LI has soccer games going on. This will be Nicholas' 2nd season of soccer and it is so the NORM in LI to have your kid play soccer. But then alot of the moms were saying that Queens has almost NO soccer at all. Maybe due to lack of fields.
I can ask Nicholas' coach about registering Ryan, but I think you have to be a resident. I'll find out for ya.
