Toddler with sensitive eyes? Help please

I have very sensitive eyes. Get migraines easily from it, always need sunglasses.

Recently DS has been rubbing his eyes, blinking a lot and wanting to wear sunglasses in the car at night saying "too bright". Tonight was extremely bad, he was crying covering his eyes and saying doctor. I had woken him from sleep to put him in the car so I am sure that made it worse, he was exhausted but I am super concerned. SO my questions are...

Has anyone experienced anything like this with their LO?

Does anyone have a great child friendly eye doctor that I could take him too? Thanks for any feedback, I am so sad about thisChat Icon

Thank you! I know I thought of that, but it really just seems like the eyes. I'd hate if he turns out like me in that respect!

I have the SAME issues..very sensitive eyes, and migraines!

DD is almost 9 months, and I've already noticed how sensitive she is to light. Chat Icon I'm just not sure if there's anything that can be done.

So I made an appt. for next week to have his eyes checked. They said it would be 1 1/2-2 hrs. because they have to dilate his eyes. I'm kind of freaking out. He hates doctors to begin with. Praying for a smooth visit!
