Toddlers at Disney
Hi Moms, Ava is 2 years, 10 months and will be going to Disney for the first time ever!!!! She is beyond excited.
My plan is to just do Magic Kingdom for one day. I don't want to be too ambitious on our first visit.
Any tips, suggestions. Anything we shouldn't miss?? She is in looove with all of the characters - especially the princesses.
Thanks, Tara

Re: Toddlers at Disney
Caiden went to Disney for the first time at 2 yrs and 10 months as well. HE LOVED IT!!! He still remembers everything which is unbelievable. Everyone told me he wouldn't remember and he's too young. They were wrong!
I can't help with the princess stuff but as far as the Dumbo ride, etc. go, get there first thing in the morning. If not you may end up having to wait in line for 2 hours. We've been there a few times already and it's a 50/50 chance of not waiting too long. Magic Kingdom is by far the busiest park there. We actually spend 1.5 days there because there's so much too do. Definitely don't try to do too much at once. Of course there's a lot there that he couldn't do, but since Caiden is/was tall he was able to go on the race cars, Buzz Lightyear, etc. He also loved Dumbo, the carousel, etc.
Also, it's a bit expensive but if your daughter loves the characters (Caiden was scared of them his first time there) do a Character breakfast. They're awesome. Caiden will know hug and get his picture taken with every single one.
Here's a link to the preschool part of disney world...
Preschool Disney
They have so much other stuff that has to do with the princess stuff as well.
Take a look at the link!!! Let me know if you have any other questions!
When are you going?

Re: Toddlers at Disney
I don't have any suggestions, but just wanted to add that I am taking my daughter June 27th-July 2nd. My dh and I are so excited to take her!! Whenever she sees an airplane she shouts to it, "HI MICKEY MOUSE!" We keep telling her we're going to be taking a plane to see Mickey's house. Have fun. Can't wait to hear how your trip went.
