TOH residents, please come in! aw heck, everyone come in, neighbor Q!
Does anyone know if you need a permit for a treehouse? My neighbors behind me put one up and now I have kids staring into my yard all day and night. One of them shot my friend with a nerf gun on Saturday!!!
We are new in the neighborhood so I don't wanna ruffle feathers but its driving me nuts and its been a week! I don't know them so I don't really want to approach them like 'oh hey can u tell your kids to stop being monsters?'
Its particularly annoying bc we have a pool and now I'm terrified they're gonna sneak in when we are at work. We have a 6' perimeter fence but you know kids, where there's a will there's a way. They're all boys, around 10-12 fyr.
Thoughts on what I should do?

i think you should speak to the parents and explain the situation and your concerns. I am not a fan of calling the town on people.

Me neither. I'm just afraid the talk will get me no where and then they'll know it was me!
I feel so exposed, I came out for a swim after work and I have all these little boys staring over my fence at me in my bathing suit. Gross.

I dont know for sure if you need a permit my guess would be yes because you need a permit for everything in TOH. I would talk to the parents, the Nerf gun would have put me over the edge.
