told my boss today and IUI #4 tomorrow!
The subject says it all...
I told my principal today about my IF saga b/c I have to miss a really important meeting for my next IUI tomorrow. She told me all about her experiences with IF (and then proceeded to tell me how I should approach my IF issues). That was a little annoying, but she was as supportive as I could have possibly imagined! She did not give me a hard time at all about missing my meeting. It was a really strange conversation, but I felt much better afterwards. I was worried that, after keeping it a secret this whole time, it would be a waste to spill the beans today if the IUI works tomorrow. Then, I decided that maybe that will help - like bringing an umbrella with you so it doesn't rain.

You already know that I ended up telling my head supervisor and pseudo-HR person today too. It really was a relief b/c they were understanding and supportive. It's funny, b/c I had the same thought as you..."if this IUI works, then I didn't need to tell anyone." Hopefully, it will be a lucky move for both of us!

I think it's better when they know. I'm glad she took it well. I think they sometimes can't help themselves when they add their advice.

thats great that you got that off your chest & dont need to stress about it.
I, on the other hand have 4 male bosses who would not understand for the life of them! Everything Dr related has to be a lie..It stinks!

Good luck!! I was open about going through IF with my principal and its been great to have the support and not feel like I'm sneaking around to leave early for appts, etc.
I'll probably be on IUI #4 soon too! Hopefully it will be the winner for both of us!!
