would you feed you 8-9 month old tomato sauce? Not sure if this is one of the foods they are to eat later. TIA

Yep, I would........and did. My DD started eating pasta with sauce at 6 months old.

I was always told that tomatoes can be too acidic for babies under a year, so I avoided until then with both my boys.

No because she had pretty bad acid reflux until almost a year old
And that would have been way too acidic for her.
Once she outgrew it- around 1 year old- she ate it with no issues.
I did the same with citrus fruits

It was one of the first table foods that DD really loved! We gave it around 7/8 months.
