Tomorrow is a BIG day in Queens....
**Disclaimer: this is NOT ABOUT whether you agree with what happened or if you side with the police or the victim's family or anything...so please dont' make it about that.**
Tomorrow - the judge will pass down the verdict on the indicted cops in the Sean Bell shooting. The tensions will be running HIGH and who knows what the verdict and reaction will be. Let us all hope and say a prayer that EVERYONE will be safe.....civilians.....cops......whomever.
When racial tensions run high, we all know how things can get out of hand - (remember the Rodney King riots?) and I hope that the verdict comes down without any additional repercussions.....I do have family who work in that very area as police officers....as well as friends who live around there. I'm sure many of you have a loved one who might live or work there too. Lets all send good vibes that this works out without anyone getting hurt.

Of course he'll show up. That's his job. Anyway, I watched the news and he, along with many other officials are calling for peace.

yeah he's definitely going to be there. he was talking yesterday to the press and saying he would be there--but he always was with Mayor Bloomberg saying that he will hope for peace as well.
right now its just a waiting game to see what the verdict & reaction will be.

I have a bad feeling about what may go down tomorrow. I pray that everyone keeps their heads about them and that it goes smoothly because its definately something that can get out of hand.

some of my friends are NYPD and they all said that it should be an interesting day.
Who ever works in the area please use caution should anything happen.
