Tomorrow is IUI#2....
But its the first one that I'm triggering with an Ovidrel injection. I'm doing a natural cycle and have a 18mm follicle. I've read some information on the board about "testing the trigger out", but in all cases, it was with Novarel. Do you also have to "test out" with Ovidrel? About how many days does the trigger stay in your system? Thanks, ladies!

Good luck!
You would need to test out Ovidrel. I was told it stays in your system for about 7-10 days.

Novarel and Ovidrel are the same thing- one is premixed, and the other isn't. Both stay in your system for 7-10 days, sometimes longer. It just depends on how fast your body metabolizes it.

Ha- It gets tricky knowing which MrsM is commenting or posting...
Good luck. Yes you can test out the trigger but I have never done it. For IUIs I just tested the day before BETA.

Good luck!
I personally wouldn't test out the trigger...you'll drive yourself nuts and just spend $$ on useless pregnancy tests. By 10 dpt it should be out of your system and it would be too early to take a pg test at that point anyway. So I'd try to wait until at least 10-12dpo before testing.

I have never tested out a trigger and just tested at 12dpo (7dp5dt).
