tomorrow is my due date...UPDATED just came home from dr.
and still no baby
I have a dr. appt tomorrow hopefully he'll have some good news. Last week I wasn't dialated at all...
UPDATE: I just got home from the doc. and still no change--I'm completely closed up and baby wants nothing to do with joining us on the outside.
My doctor is very conservative and not comfortable with inducing me until I'm at least a week over due, so he scheduled me for induction/c-section on Friday 3/14. He feels that if the baby doesn't drop down by Thurs. it would be best to skip the induction and go right to a c-section, but I'll know for certain on Thurs.
I'm excited that there's an end in sight, but I'm very nervous about a c-section And really just wanted to experience a regular birth (with an epidural of course), So I'm a little bummed. But Dr. said that the baby looks great and that makes me feel better.
Hopefully baby will get a move on before next week!

2 Days before I gave birth I was closed up so tight no sign of anything and I was a week overdue. Dr. told me she was still too high for an induction and we would wait it out over the weekend. I went into labor 2 days later and she was born about 4.5 hours after I started having consistent contractions. Try and have some patience I know its hard.

take evening primrose oil. I got it at whole foods but I think they have it at most pharmacies. it's a prostaglandin (like sperm) and will soften your cervix. My OB recommended 1 capsule 3x/day. I have read online you can also insert it in your va-jay-jay, but I just do it orally. I was closed up tight and my cervix was long and hard. After 3 days, it softened a little and was 1 cm. Another 4 days later I was 60% effaced and 1.5 cm. I don't know if it was EPO but it is worth a shot.
