Tomorrow is my Glucose test
My doc sends me to go on my own before my next visit.
Not looking forward to it...more dreading drinking this thing. 
what do they do, take blood after u drink?

one hour I drank and they took blood 1x after.
I hear sometimes they take urine before u drink or blood first--drink then more blood. It depends on what the doc ordered.
The orange was not bad to me at all.
I had it warm and cold. I got it cold at 3 hour and was darn hungry and kind of liked it...its like flat mcdonalds orange drink..no biggie. good luck!

The drink really wasn't that bad. It was super cold and I just drank it fast to get it over with. I was nervous b/c I still have stomach issues and was afraid it would upset my stomach but it didn't. 1 hour after I finished it they took my blood. For some reason I was expecting a bbig bottle or something to drink and it really wasn't that much--just a small plastic cup. Good luck!!!

Best of luck Deb, I heard it also helps if you are able to walk during that hour instead of sitting idle.

I took it Monday, the drink tasted like flat orange soda. I had 5 minutes to drink it, then I sat for an hour and they took blood.
Rather painless, just bring something to read.
Oh and I had to wait there, I wasn't allowed to leave.

My paperwork from the doctors office I received today says that you are to stay seated for the hour and you aren't supposed to get up and walk around as it can hinder the results.
