Too cold 4 walk?
Ladies what do u think???
I just came home & said I was going to take DD for a short walk in her stroller. She's been cooped up inside all week (during the day w/ Daddy).
He said you're not taking her out in this weather....
what do you think?
I didn't see anything wrong if I bundled her up.
Thoughts?
PS--she did just have a little cold
ETA she's 4 mo

Re: Too cold 4 walk?
My dd is 6wks old and my dad took her out for two walks today. I just bundled her up. The coolness on her face is good for her to breath.
I figure as long as she is bundle and not out too long what could be the harm

Tell Dad he is very cute to worry, but to save it for when she is ready to start dating. Going out today is totally fine as long as she is dressed well!

as long as it's abouve 40 degrees...we are out there. Just bundle her up. I had a Dec baby, we were always out.
Hat is very important

ITA and should have taken my own advice and took him out earlier, but, I was doing work, for work. Our Ped. said anything 40 and above, bundle him up GOOD and go for a short walk.

Re: Too cold 4 walk?
We took my Mom to the Dr, saw Santa and then went to the park for 30 mins. It was very cold out. But he needed to get out and run around
As long as they are dressed properly I say go for it

Re: Too cold 4 walk?
I'm glad you asked this because I was wondering myself. Reading the above 40° thing, I now say put on a hat, put her in the Bundle Me or just bundle her up and go!

Re: Too cold 4 walk?
I don't think it was too cold at all. I took DS out for a walk and put him on the swing. I don't know what I am going to do when it gets really cold.

Re: Too cold 4 walk?
We were out and about yesterday! I try to get them out during the high sunlight! Also, they are bundled up so well! Plus, the walk isn't just about them! I need air and time when I can clear my head and get errands done! The cold air is good for them!

Ella and I was out and and about yesterday and we will do the same today. I just make sure she is bundled up really good. Ella enjoys her daily walks.

Re: Too cold 4 walk?
I walked DD to the train station to meet DH and walk him back home - I bundled her up warmly - I think it is fine as long as she is dressed appropriately. I plan on walking again today.
