too early to feel the baby?

Last night I had chocolate ice cream before bed and I was laying there trying to fall asleep. Brutus always turns around a few times and then COLLAPSES onto my belly and sleeps there. Last night, when he did this - I felt two quick "flicks" on one side of my stomach. Almost like someone was flicking me with their fingers but from the inside out.

I know it COULD have been gas - but I have been reading about it all morning and do you think this is my first "quickening?"

I hope so! Chat Icon Chat Icon

ETA: I am 15 weeks today

Re: too early to feel the baby?

Not too early at all! But don't be surprisd if it's a while before you feel anything again. I fel "bussing" at 12 weeks, then nothing until flicks/twitches 17 weeks, and kicking wasn't consistent till after 20 weeks!

So cool Chat Icon

Definitely not too early! I felt the first movements from both my pregnancies late in my 14th week.
Was the feeling really low, like around your panty line? That's where you would feel it. Chat Icon

Re: too early to feel the baby?

Yep, totally could have been the baby. When you feel that same tapping again, you'll know for sure.
