because i really really really want to wear them this weekend!!!!!
i do not want to wait until memorial day!

I don't listen to the "memorial day weekend" rule. If the weather is warm enough, go ahead. I am wearing white dress pants to a communion tomorrow

I wear mine all year round with twin sets/ turtle necks or one of my big Irish sweaters and boots.
As long as the top and accessories are seasonally appropriate I say - Go for it !
