Top loading washing machine
I have asked Santa for a new washing machine this year.
I feel like everyone I know is getting front loaders. I'm not sure if that will work for us - DH does a lot of our laundry and is not the type to dry out the inside of the door or remember to leave the door open.
Has anyone recently purchased a top loading machine that they are happy with? I looked at a few places, but every salesman thinks I am insane for not wanting a front loader.
TIA

i think the time of the front loader is soon to be expired. I saw two commercials for new top loading machines. I love top loaders would never switch after my parents got the front loader and i used it for six months, eh.

Re: Top loading washing machine
when needed a new washer and dryer when we moved in. when we went to the store they told us not to get the "pretty" front loaders. they have the most issues because the washers aren't meant to be turned on their sides if they aren't commercial grade. a lot of people complain about having to leave the washing machines door open when not in use, but you should or black mold grows because it has no way to dry out.
I did a lot of research because I really wanted the front load machines, but all the complaints were on them so we saved a ton of $$ and bought the top load.

I had a front loader in my apartment and hated it. We bought a whirlpool cabrio top loader when we bought the house and I LOVE it. No smell no gunk just clean clothes!!

We have the same one - it's HUGE! Since there's only two of us we only have to do about a load of laundry a week, and we save time, electricity and water with this set.

I don't have any recs, but my SIL just bought a new top load without the agitator in it and she hates it. She said it does not get the clothes as clean.

Re: Top loading washing machine
I've never used a front loader, but I add too many pieces last minute that I think a FL would frustrate me.
