Top Point girls - couple of questions for ya'...
1. Where is the municipal parking lot located? I couldn't find it the last time. (Although if it's super cold out, I may just park in the nearby lot and take the hit for the $35 parking ticket. )
2. Would you have your hair cut prior to the straightening or wait until afterwards??? I'm in serious need of a hair cut, but I wasn't too happy with their technique of cutting hair at TP. I'm inclined to go before b/c my hair is pretty long and I figured if I took off a few iinches, it might make the process go a "little" faster.

I would get a hair cut after- you will need one after regardless of it you get one before or not
I know there is a parking lot- I am just not 100% sure where- and it's only $20 I think- I need to find it also
I need to go back asap!

I think it's past the salon (going up that hill) but I'm not sure. Only because they kept pointing but I really couldnt' understant them. I was able to make out that it's a $4-5 lot all day parking but that many of the Manhattan commuters get there & take the spots.
I would get my hair cut afterwards because it's straighter. If I were to get it cut before it may change how short/long I would get it or what style I want.
You're going again? I thought you went in the sumer, no? I'm trying to push it to Feb/March so my hair isn't at the 6 month mark during high humidity.

If it's $20 for all day, I'd rather just park my vehicle at the lot that's 100 ft from the salon, and just pay the $35 ticket. (I'm such a lazy mofo. )

I have a question too. I got mine done in May and the roots on the top of my head are starting to curl and everything else is still straight. Do I go there for a touch up?

Yeah, I couldn't make out where the lot was either. Like you, all I got out of the convo was $4.
I went in early Sept. I think. My hair needs it bad. I've got 4 inches of growth/waves at the back/bottom of my head. The top of my hair is getting annoying too, where I definitely have to use the flat iron to smooth things out. What used to take me 10 minutes is now taking 30. Granted, it's still 30 minutes less than what it used to be!

I've got the annoying curl too. Will you go back in the mid summer then? (Trying to figure out what to do about my own weird little curl/flip thing I have going on.)
