Oh Kelly....Is this a true threat to Long Island?

it's a tornado watch, which means conditions are favorable for tornadic development. The storms are supposed to be scattered in nature, so not everyone will see them. But any storm that develops could at least become severe. So beware. If a tornado WARNING is issued for your area, it means it is immenent. Chances are pretty good for at least severe thunderstorms.

I am at work and won't be on here. Go to weather.gov/okx and scroll til you see the radar. Click on that and it will show you where storms are. If you click on either composite or base loop (to he left of the radar when you have it up, it will show you the storms moving) a yellow box around a storm means severe warning. Red box around storm means tornado warning. Good luck everybody!
