Totally random ?? from a non parent

I'm going to start TTC over the summer...my friend is currently preggers so i have babies on my mind....If you register for gender specific items (travel systems, swings, high chairs, PNP) is there a way to change the material later in the future if your next baby isnt the same gender??!?! or do you just register for neutral colors?

usually, no. I know some high end strollers you can replace the fabric, but frankly it's hideously

If you want gender specific stuff, I recommend getting neutral furniture (unless the crib converts to a full bed) and making the sheets/walls/curtains pink or blue....

we are on the other end of the spectrum... we want almost everything to be gender neutral... so I went ahead and picked stuff out now even though I don't know if it's a boy or girl.


trust me, you have plenty of time to figure this stuff out while you're growing your bean....

oh I HAVE PLENTY of time!!! haha! I was just curious because EVERYTHING gender specific is so cute....esp. since i'm obsessed with the pink/brown or baby blue/brown colors. My friend is having a girls and EVERYthing on her registry is so girly....

I'm having a girl and doing the room in pink and brown. But, I registered for gender neutral in the big ticket items (stroller, car seat, swing, pack & play, etc) because I'll want to reuse those things for baby #2 someday whether its a boy or girl.

I registered for all gender neutral stuff like car seat, PNP, etc.

I don't think you can change the pattern.
