Touch faucets, worth it?
Anyone have the touch faucets that operate at a mere tap of the hand? I'll like to get one but those things, the Delta model below, cost $300 easy!
Just curious if it's worth it.
Thanks!

Re: Touch faucets, worth it?
I have it DH really wanted it.
It's cool, I like it when my hands are dirty, or in the process of doing something just tap it. I like it for making baby bottles.
but now when I go to other people's houses I tap their sink and then have to laugh at myself.
Is it worth the cost, probably not. But I like it.

We just got one, the Delta Pilar. Its not installed yet (our cabinets are not in yet) but DH needed it. I will still be using the sink the old fashioned way, its too much of a habit.

Re: Touch faucets, worth it?
We just bought a touch faucet for our bathroom because "I HAD TO HAVE IT!" I hate hate hate hate HATE it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Every time I stick my hands in and pull them up (wash my face, brush my teeth), I keep tapping into it and shutting it off. It's like: WATER on...off...dammit....on..off...on....off...! I get so frustrated. Might be better in your kitchen but it's so annoying. I'm ready to rip mine out by myself bc DH is trying to teach me a lesson and won't replace it because he "warned me." He hasn't said that but I just know he's being a jerk lol

Re: Touch faucets, worth it?
That's so annoying, your DH has to live with it as is now too, why is he not changing it if it's obvious you dont like it anymore.
If you do it quickly enough, maybe you can still get your money back...
And isn't there a way to switch to manual mode if you don't like it?
