So if my credit card bill is due TOMORROW!!!
Why must I have paid it YESTERDAY so as not to get a late fee???????????
Seriously, if you wanted the money YESTERDAY you should have made the due date YESTERDAY!!!
And on top of that, IF I wanted to make an express payment, online it says $12 but the guy at MBNA told me $15!!! W T F???
GRRRRRRRRRRRRR.................

That happened to me too. SOOOOOOOO annoying. I think you pay more if you do the express payment over the phone vs online.

I cancelled a card that did that. It makes no sense and that's why there online bill payment. I just paid something that's due tomorrow and there isn't a late fee.

its by the post date...not by the date you submit it. your due day can change within 2-3 day window.
i would make a safe payment date 5 days before the earlist possible due date and you should change when your bill is due (which can take up to 2 months to go into effect)
i used to work for a major CC company

I was surprised to find out that my Visa did the same thing, I had to pay 14.99 for express payment... I was so pi$$ed off  jerks!!

DH always argues with the cc companies about things like that. He has gotten late charges removed a few times.

you could probably get the late charge removed. Companies will usually do that for you at least once.
