I believe so. It may have been June-Sept..but I have trouble remembering exactly. It was an additional $50/mo.

Re: Question for those who rent or have rented:
My old landlord was really easy-going. It was just whenever I put the AC in and took it our. So usually just June, July and August and he only charged an extra $25 per month.

Re: Question for those who rent or have rented:
None of our landlords charged more in the summer months for AC. (Thankfully!)

Re: Question for those who rent or have rented:
I also wanted to add, a friend of ours is charge more the months she has her AC in, but it's not a specific month time set... It's actually the moment her AC are put in...they start charging.

Re: Question for those who rent or have rented:
Thanks all!
If you remember I posted about the irresponsible BIL. I can't take it anymore. He is driving me insane.
I really think leaving the A/C on all day with the window wide open is a HUGE PET PEEVE of mine. Because its my bill not his. He will be giving us more money this month and for any other month that A/C is on or he can move out!!!
Good thing he is scared of me!!!!

Re: Question for those who rent or have rented:
We pay $25/per AC extra per month. We have 3 units so we actually pay $75 more per month for the AC.

Re: Question for those who rent or have rented:
We paid an extra $100 for the entire summer. I thought it was fair.

Re: Question for those who rent or have rented:
how about taking the a/c out of the window when he's not home? If he's going to abuse it, then he can't have it.

Re: Question for those who rent or have rented:
It was $25 extra/month and whenever we put it in the a/c and took it out was when we were charged.

Re: Question for those who rent or have rented:
Our management company used to charge a flat fee for the year, and it was based on the size of the AC (btus) and you were charged for each AC individually.
We just got metered and I think in the end we are going to pay more
