New Season of Lost info
The new season starts on Oct. 6. They heard everyone's complaints about all the repeats, so now they are airing 6 episodes- and then a 3 month hiatus and then 16 more episodes.

i heard the first few episodes will focus on what happens to Jack, Kate, Sawyer. And that Libby will be back in flashbacks so you learn what her deal was.

I recently read the very same thing..
Also that you don't even find out ANYTHING about the fate of Locke, Eko or Desmond for those first set of episodes

I read that the problem with the repeats was because they have such a busy schedule, it's hard to make any more than 22-24 eps a season. So the rest of the season they play repeats. Instead of doing the same thing, they are going to give us the short season in the fall and the full, no-repeat season in spring.
Sounds good to me!
