i do however let the water run and stick my hand in it to try to go before i get in

I just saw it this morning, me too!!
And no, I don't pee in the shower because I yell at DH for letting his son pee in the shower. My shower seems to have a draining problem lately, so I certainly wouldn't want to stand in my own urine!
