North Shore School District
Could anyone tell me approx what the pay would be for masters +30 and about 8 yrs teaching experience in NYC? Thanks for your help

It really all depends on the district.
I worked in one North Shore District that had had 5% increases every year for the past 3 years, so their salaries have increased a lot.
But the district I'm currently working in went a year without a teacher's contract and the current contract only had 3.25%-3.45% increases each year. So those salaries are dropping.
I will tell you that they pay considerably more than NYC schools, and more than some of the other schools on LI.

I teach in Suffolk and in my district a Step 8 teacher at Masters +30 would make over $70k - so it would be several thousand more in Nassau
