repost from home, what color blinds should i get?
the living room in th apartment we are movin into has geen carpeting(see picure below). We got balck leather couches, what color vertical blinds to get. i am not rally liking the idea of white or off white any other suggestions?
My dh wants black which iam not against but everyone is sayng things like " its will be to dark" meanwhile the room is VERY BIG. What do you think?

DEF NOT BLACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
pale yellow? to lighten up or
deep red to blend...
depends on which mood you want to set
i think i would go with the deep red since you have black

I don't think I like the idea of black blinds, but I would have to see furniture in the room, etc. What about wood? Would that work?

no i dont think wood would work 
so confused. Dh really wanst balack and i dont have problem with it but when i tell people they have the same raction as here NO NOT BLACK which makes me wonder what am i not seeing that everyone else says no way. everyone cant be wrong

i would go with a pale, softer color...maybe something to compliment the rug, like a soft red or burgandy??

thanks everyone i just told him THE GIRLS say NO BLACK so he is actually reconsidering but he is saying maybe just get plain white or beige which is fine too with me
