what do you guys think about this?
so my Dad sold his house- and in his freezer was my wedding cake top
I don't have room in my freezer for it
so I was thinking about eating it on our engagament aniversary which is August 27th?
is that weird? wrong? should I bring it to my Grandmas and pick it up in december on our anniversary?

I think that's fine -- we actually ate ours for our one month anniversary. We didn't have room to store it for a year and figured it would taste terrible by then anyway.

Some people don't save it at all. I am sure it's fine and you will still have a special memory since you will be eating it on your engagement anniversary. Enjoy!

I think it's fine... I just picked mine up at my Mom's and ate it... at around 8 months.
It actually tasted AMAZING! Gotta love Audrey's! Have fun celebrating!

I'm just jealous you have it; my grandma ate ours while we were on our honeymoon b/c she didn't know it was a tradition. 
Edit: so I made DH buy me a whole black forest cake on the 1 yr!
