town of hempstead - christmas tree pickup
our christmas tree has been out in front of our house since 1/13. i checked the garbage flyer and it said christmas trees will be picked up on 1/5 and 1/12, but the 12th is when we had the last snow storm and garbage/recycling never came.
does anyone know if they're actually going to pick it up? or do we now have to bring it somewhere?
my dh is gonna call them when he gets back in town next week.

We left our out last night and they picked it up this morning. I would call them.

we put ours out on 1/13 also - i figured that since they didn't come around on the 12th because of the snowstorm, they'd come the next day.
they didn't
but our regular garbage guys took it the next day (14th). i think we just got lucky
try calling them and asking what they plan on doing and let them know its been out there since the 13th

we put ours out on wednesday, the normal day for grass and mulch and they picked it up.
