Town of Islip-summer rec programs
Does anyone know when the schedules/registration for the Town of Islip rec programs comes out? I have been looking online and only found winter/spring.

I believe they sent the book out months ago. I would call the rec center.

yeah it was sent out a while ago, i mailed in the form for my dd to do the little summer camp i want to say in march it was due

Hi!
It is on the website:
http://www.townofislip-ny.gov/
then under "things you should know" click on the summer rec. link.
It came out months ago, but you may still be able to join some programs.

Thanks...my DD is 18 months and it doesn't seem there is much out there for her. I only see some fall programs for her age. I am off for the summer and was hoping to take advantage of some classes.
On a side note, does anyone know how the Shipwreck Cove is? Is it free with the town card?

With town rec card it is $5. I believe 3 and under are free. Residents w/o the card were 7, non-residents 10. Its included if you get the pool pass. My DH mentioned that he read somewhere that there were issues with the park. Cracking? Not sure, he wasn't sure if it was going to affect when they open.
