Has anyone ever done this? Who runs the groups..teachers or teenagers? Do they accept everyone who registers?Which camp did your child attend I am thinking ofmarjorie post

When I was in high school I was a camp counselor - it was run through the high school. I am not sure how it is run now, but I would reach out to the high school to see if they can help answer your questions or point you in the right direction.

I had to shadow a student at the camp at Marjorie Post 2 summers ago (I only did it for 2 days since I was filling in for someone) and the supervisors were adults, but the groups themselves were run by teenagers. I personally felt that they were more interest in their cell phones, gossiping, flirting, and braiding one another's hair then they were in the kids. It was kind of a free for all for the kids in the group I was in, but then again I was only there for 2 days.....so maybe I was there on "off" days???
