Towns in Queens-Nassau- Western Suffolk?
I am thinking of buying a 2 bedroom condo. Wondering if you all had any recommendations of kid friendly areas to move to.
Raised in Suffolk, so my knowledge of Nassau/Queens is limited. I know Great Neck is an option.
TIA!
ETA... I work in Williston Park. So Western Suffolk is an option, but I am not familiar with anything there either without it being a rental.

Re: Towns in Queens-Nassau- Western Suffolk?
Are you looking just for a condo, or would you consider a co-op?
Also, do you have a budget in mind? Condos tend to be more $$$. I know there are some condo buildings in Garden City, for example, and that would be convenient to Williston Park and I would consider it a nice place to live with kids. But the condos are quite pricey. You mentioned Great Neck, but a 2 bedroom condo there will likely be $500K + (even $600K+). There are many more co-ops than condos in Great Neck, too, so I don't know if you've considered that as an option.
If you are open to co-ops, there are a lot of more affordable options in towns like Mineola that would be convenient to your job.
What do you mean by kid-friendly? Are you concerned about the school districts, or talking more about proximity to parks and playgrounds, good library programs, etc.?
I have sold many co-ops and condos, so let me know if you have any questions, or if I can help!

we live in Glen Oaks- technically its queens, but I work in Garden City and its less than a 20 minute commute for me. Beautiful parks and facilities all over the community and its in the top school district in NYC- district 26. We've been there 5 years and just love it
eta- its a coop community and 2 bedrooms range from 210-240k depending on if they are 1st or 2nd floor (2nd has an attic, some 1st floors you can reclaim and use the basement for extra living space)
