Toy Boxes?

Can anyone post pics of thier toy boxes or toy chests?

We are thinking of getting one for Emily because her toys are everywhere! We're thinking plastic would be safer -- but there are more options as far as wood.

So I'm wondering what everyone has!

TIA!
Melissa

I use her diaper boxes. They aren't just containers for toys, they are toys themself:

Re: Toy Boxes?

We got this one after christmas b/c the toys were out of control. It is SO HUGE inside I can not even tell you how much it holds - Its great!!
I know there are such cute wood ones out there but my son is very accident prone and I didn't want anything he would fall and hurt himself on or if the lid fell down it would hurt him, etc.

Re: Toy Boxes?

I bought my godson one similar to this. It has a safety on it so it never slams down

Okay -- where did you find that girly one from? I've only been able to find neutral/brown ones -- and a thomas the tank engine plastic one -- but nothing girly!!

Re: Toy Boxes?

Aidan has two wooden toy boxes in his room, this one was mine and my DH replaced the hinges with safety ones. I guess circa 1970-ish that was not standard issue

and this one his Great Aunt made for him

For other small stuff I use large baskets.

Is it so big a little one can't get their toys out easily? I was looking at one similar to that....
