Toy Story Land
I was up at 6:45 am waiting for the absolute first moment to snag fast passes, and I still could not get a fast pass for slinky dog. I am SO upset! It was the one thing I wanted a FP for, the lines are going to be out of control.....

I mean, we weren’t there when TSL was open. But we did get on all the rides we wanted to when we got there at opening. Can you get there a little before opening and make that the absolute first ride you go on? We waited no longer then 15 minutes on a line the first hour we were there. The first few things we did we waited like 5 minutes. We covered a lot in an hour! We went during a very busy time when we were there.

We’ve had luck doing what luckysmom suggested - go straight to the most popular ride.

What day did you try to get it for on your trip? Are you onsite at 60 plus days?

Plan to line up at least 1.5 hours early if you are going to try to standby, because I'm sure it's going to be like Pandora when it opened!

Re: Toy Story Land
Ugh!!! Frustrating for sure. I am going in Dec and crossing my fingers it's not as crazy when I book FP's.
Keep trying, I here all the time that people get them last minute, even night before or day of.

Re: Toy Story Land
Stinks... but one ride shouldn’t make or break your experience. It could be broken or closed for the day (has happenned to us).
Be sure you make sure that the park isn’t an extra magic hours park. For me, 30 days out, some rides just “opened”... but I don’t wake up and get out that early on vacation ;) Otherwise... it’s a good thing to have a “next time”

Re: Toy Story Land
Looks like they are doing extra hours every day for a while after opening. Not sure when you are going but I would try going early morning or at end of day. Last year when Pandora opened I got fp for one ride and we rode the other like 3 times in a row at the end of the day even though the posted waits were way higher than what they actually were(they also extended hours every day for like 2 months after the new land opened). I just booked a trip for end of August and was able to get an early evening one for the slinky dog, but this was 60 days out and I planned Hollywood studios for the 4th day of the trip...all the earlier times were gone already. But I would also check daily to see if any open up...I read on a forum people were able to adjust the time of theirs to earlier...so it's possible to still get them as people change plans.

We are going 21-28 and I had no problem getting FP for 7 people for slinky dog. There were several time slots as well. Keep trying!
