Toy to donate
Hi, I was hoping somebody could help me, I recently bought an imaginarium dollhouse type thing that I found for a really great price, and I have nobody to give it to. It stands about 3 feet tall and is still in the box. I would like to donate it to a hospital or charity. Does anybody know of a place that would take this? Thanks for your help!

Re: Toy to donate
if you go to Volunteer match , you can ut in your zip code and find local charities (or their offices). like AHRC, UCP, Big brothers/sisters of LI. maybe you could contact them to see if they need donations.
i looked up Schneider's Children's hospital, but it only mentioned monetary donations- but maybe if you give them a call, they take toys as well?

Thanks for your help! I am in Suffolk, but I would be willing to travel into Nassau, I'm going to check out that website and make some phone calls.

there's also Maryhaven Center of Hope in Port Jeff (i know they rely heavily on donations- so either the school or one of the houses/dorms may take it).
