Toyota Corrolla Vs. Rav-4 (any owner's out there)

I've narrowed my car search to these two models..

Pros and Cons anyone?

Both cars are used (previously leased) and are certified. They both have 80K miles..

The Corrolla fits my budget more.. but I just love the RAV-4...

So what do you guys think?

I have owned Both (in a manner of speaking at any rate, the Rav was technically my parents')!

I love both cars. In fact, I'm currently sitting Shiva for the Rav because it is waiting to die in a mechanic's in New Jersey and it was the first car I ever owned.

If I were in your position, and money weren't an issue, I'd go with the Rav, because I prefer to sit higher up. I love the fact that a Rav-4 is not really an SUV, but sort of is. The seats in my '96 Rav weren't that comfortable for long drives, but that's been fixed in later models, I've been told.

Adam and I LOVE our '03 Corolla. It runs great, no problems. Great gas mileage. But then, the same could be said about the Rav - even at 160K, 9 years old, it was still getting about 30 mpg on the highway, according to Dad.

You're in good shape either way.

I have a 98 RAV 4 and I love it! I just paid way too much for it, but has never ever (know on wood) given me ANY problems. Now it's running better than before since I work across the street from my apartment; but I drove it all the way from NY to Miami.
Like I said before, I just paid too much for it but I can stay with that car until it just breaks down completely.
I really like the new rav 4, it looks very elegant and roomy.

I have a Rav-4 and I absolutely adore it. I just got it in April, but I bought it used.

I find that it drives like a car but is definitely roomy like a truck. I also just think in general, the Rav is a goodlooking car. But I am biased!

I just bought an 05 Corolla. I love it but I have nothing to compare it to - it's my first car.

Well, my last car was a corolla and my current is a Rav-4. I loved both but I like my Rav-4 more. It's a little higher up so I don't get blinded at night by everyone's headlights and the RAV-4 is better in bad weather.
I had a 99 corolla before and for some reason, everyone that I know that owned that year/design had bad experiences driving in the snow but people who had the older model corolla didn't.

WOW, it's funny on LIW everyone was advising the corolla..and on here the RAV... I am going to the dealership tomorrow so I will let you all know what happens..

Im looking at the 4runner limited now, its my first choice now

I may check out the armada too but I think it looks too big

my sister has a rav 4 and likes it but its on a car frame not a truck frame so if your looking for a truck you may not like the rav4
