Toys for Christmas I am afraid to purchase
I am looking at all the toys out for Christmas and I am afraid to purchase due to all the recalls that have been going on, Do you feel the same way ?

A little bit. I want to try to avoid any uneccesary risks but I also want him to have toys. I did buy stuff and took the chance, but do worry it will later be recalled.

Absolutely anything and everything CAN be recalled. Bottles, cribs, boppies, blankets, etc. If you don't buy what MIGHT be recalled, your DC will be naked in a concrete room (carpets may have chemicals in them, as may hardwood floors....) 
Just buy what YOU think is safe, and you are comfortable buying, and keep an eye on the recall lists.
