We use these big canvas bags - we have a couple of really big ones and a couple of the small ones - they are great.http://www.potterybarnkids.com/products/md8500/index.cfm?pkey=cbaskets%2Dboxes%2Dbuckets%7Ck

We have this one too, in the "girlie" colors for DD.
A friend of ours is making us a giant toy box so I can just throw everything in it

I have this table in my living room as a cocktail table. DS stores his books in the drawers and toys in the bins. Nobody can believe it is a children table. We also use wicker baskets to store toys. Image Attachment(s):

i think we might end up getting this even though dh wants a "covering" so it doesn't look messy.

Re: Toys Storage - what are you using?
I also have that same storage unit like everyone posted. I actually got it cheaper at Lowes. I also just bought HUGE beautiful baskets at HomeGoods for all the toys and trucks.

I found this on Land of nod did you buy the one with the different size legs and the paper roll? Don't think I see a need for the legs.

When company comes over I scoop everything up and put it in the diaper bag that I get from the hospital. things that don't fit I leave where they are. Everyone who comes over knows we have a child.

Re: Toys Storage - what are you using?
I don't have anything with a cover. We use the storage bins shown above for the littler toys and 2 baskets from TJMAXX for the bigger toys and I STILL need more storage

I did buy the other legs just in case DS wanted to use it as a desk when he gets older. I have them stored since I dont have a need for them now.
